The Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) will have an application Webinar on Thursday, February 15, 2018 beginning at 9:30 a.m. This year the RCO will accept grant applications for project proposals in all Recreation and Conservation Funding Board programs. This grant application Webinar will give prospective applicants information about:
 
·         Grant programs and purpose
·         Program schedules and requirements
·         Applicant eligibility requirements
·         Changes for 2018
·         How to apply
 
This grant application Webinar will focus on the following grant programs with applications due May 1, 2018:
 
·         Aquatic Land and Enhancement Account (ALEA)
·         Boating Infrastructure Grants (BIG)
·         Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF)
·         Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP)
·         Youth Athletic Fields (YAF)
 
NEW IN 2018
Those applying for grants in the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program and the Youth Athletic Facilities program, may be eligible for reduced match, some as low as 10 percent. To see if you’re eligible, visit the RCO Web site.
 
If you cannot make the Webinar, please register anyway. You will be e-mailed a link to view the recorded Webinar after it is posted to the Web.
 
Note: A separate application Webinar will be held August 28, 2018 for the following grant programs with applications due November 1, 2018.
 
·         Boating Facilities Program (BFP)
·         Firearms and Archery Range Recreation (FARR)
·         Nonhighway and Off-road Vehicles Activities (NOVA)
·         Recreational Trails Program (RTP)
